---Seriously, black pepper has worked for many for many years, but the
problem with pepper, oatmeal, and the all too famous stop leak, is that it
can cause more damage to the cooling system if too much is used.

---Ryan, the leak will start at the highest point of the green colored fins.
If it is in the seal, than chances of repair are slim. A propane* bottle
torch, flux, lead solder and a little patience is all that is needed for a
repair. If the hole/crack is less than a 1/16" any novice can do it with the
right instructions.
