Hello Michael,

When you look down the carb do you see a shot of fuel into both barrels? If
not you do have accelerator pump problems. The fuel is pumped by spring
pressure so you might have a blocked check valve or cup stuck to the cylinder
wall.

While its running try a small shot of carb cleaner down each barrel. Does it
smooth out for a bit? If so your idle circuit(s) are plugged.

If any of the above get a 1 gallon can of carb cleaner with the basket and a
rebuild kit. Then disassemble carb and soak major components for a couple of
days. Blow out all passages with compressed air and reassemble.
