I don't know for sure, but I suspect the V-304/345/392 would probably
bolt up to your transmission because both the Sixes and the V-8's were
used at the same time. But if you want to swap transmissions too, you
can easily use anything you want as all you'd have to do is adapt the
prop shaft to fit the transmission and possibly move some
motor/transmission mounts.
