RE: [ihc] Auction around Omaha next weekend.

My hesitation in going it due to the fact that I've drug home 5 IHs in
the last 6 months. There has got to be a limit to my wife's
understanding. Granted there is only about $600 tied up into all those
vehicles. She wants new carpet in one room ($600) and deserves it. I
think my dad is sending me to look for a piece he needs to finish his
all fuel H. Just as well pull a trailer with me, huh?

I've considered trying to turn a profit on a vehicle or two. I'm too
nice a guy to make too much though. I did have a visitor who left with
some IH parts and a lighter billfold yesterday. Good deal for both of
us.

So, it looks like I will be going to the auction and pulling a trailer.
I'll let everyone know how it turns out.

Here's a picture of a model fire truck. Note the title of the jpeg:

So maybe besides roadsters from 1915, and the bumpers from your youth,
the
Luverne Special is also a fire rig, sometimes an IH?

You should go to the auction, Ed. Find out about the KB-6, the Luverne,
and
buy that third Travelette. We can all fight over it if you don't want
it.
Whoever gets to Ed's place first, wins!
