All Excursions are solid front, right? I looked at one quickly today
but didn't look underneath.
I don't think so. The F250 does not, but my F350 does.
Someone that knows will probably speak up. Jim A.

A little giddy today, getting a pickup for work purposes. I get to
pick
it out, and stop putting miles on my personal vehicle. Probably F250
Powerstroke, 6 speed to keep people from borrowing it. Any words of
wisdom?

Dunno if I've ever been accused of wisdom, but if the F250 is going to
be
a 4X4, is there any chance of upgrading to a F350 and the solid front
axle.

My nephew had a F350 powerstroke, 4X4, with single rear wheels.

A driving comparison between a pivot front axle F250 Powerstoke 4X4
(owned
by my nephew's father) and the solid front axle F350 4X4 powerstoke. . .

Give me the solid front axle every time.
