Re: [ihc] GVW comparisons



My 1200A has a 7000 lb rating. Funny that going from half to 3/4 ton ratings
the GVWR goes up by 1000 lbs. or even more.  This is also true of my 1200B
pickup. 7000 lbs. The 68 1200C has 8500 on the tag, probably because it has
a factory installed service bed, a former forest service truck.

The 1100A (barn door) travelall door shows 5600 gvw. It's on my 1100C
pickup, and that one showed 7000 lbs before I took it off.

The 1110 shows 6000. How funny that it has a factory towing package.

It would seem there is a bit of variation. IH apparently couldn't figure out
that one size fits all... oh, yeah, that's what I like about them. Parts
with a purpose.
