---Yep, the greasable bearing has a passage and 180 degree from that passage
there is a line on the bearing that you use to center that passage over the
port in the collar. AND MAKE SURE your new bearing can be pressed on, if
not, you will have to peen the mating surface of the collar with a small
center punch to enlarge the circumference (basically). If you don't and it
doesn't fit snugly, the bearing will* fall off the collar and possibly break
the levers on the pressure plate.

---So far, all the collars I have seen had the extra casting in them for the
zerk fitting. Even collars from mid-to-late `70 Loadstars, which is where I
got my spare (`78). Some are different in length, but the only difference I
can see that matters for* the Scout II is the distance from the fork seats
to the face.

---IIRC, I used a 1/8" drill bit (may have been 3/32", you will have to
decide by comparing the drill bit to the area you will be drilling) to bore
the grease passage from the face of the collar toward the 1/4" bore I
drilled to house the jerk fitting. Tap 4 threads in the 1/4" bore and then
install the zerk. If that all sounds like too much trouble Super Scout
Specialist had some collar and bearing combinations that cost $100... all
ready to install and grease.
