I thought of more easy things to replace first.  Buy a new headlight switch and
install it.  The turn signal assembly under the steering wheel is another one to
look at to see if that's your turn signal problem.  You'll need a test light to
test for power, and jumper wires to bypass connections and switches.  ...just be
very careful of what wires you jump.  A fuse in your jumpers is a good idea.
