I was wondering how the booster search turned out.  On the drivers side of
the carb is a series of bendable rods.  Check to see if they are binding
somehow.  Next time it doesn't start take of the air cleaner box and study
those rods for lost clips(that hold them on or bends that inhibit their
movement.  The other side(choke pulled of is also made to be adjustable. Be
sure it allows the choke to fully close when cold and fully open when engine
is warm.
