OK... let's see here...

Assuming an average 13 mpg prior to the MSD and 14 mpg after, that would be
a 7.69230769% increase in fuel economy.  Further assume gasoline is $1.00
per gallon.  This means the cost per mile for fuel only is $0.07692308 at
13 mpg and $0.07142857 at 14 mpg.  That's a difference of $0.00549451... or
just over 1/2 of one cent.  An MSD runs about $130.00 with shipping from
most discount mail order sources (not including new wires or coil).
Therefore in your example, it would take about 23,660 miles just to pay for
the MSD unit before you start saving any money.  Throw in all the other
goodies and the pay back stretches way out.

The reason I bother to point this out is so people realize a fuel savings
alone of 1 mpg may not necessarily justify spending the money needed to
achieve it.
