I actually meant RSSO or Reverse Shackle Spring Over.

And, that is an advantage - the rear mounting doesn't change. I was just
pointing out that heavy steel, good welds, it seems to work (tower type
extension). Just as I pointed out that there are warnings that blocks on
spring over axles to raise trucks are considered dangerous. There is
argument for Steve's idea, there is argument against. A mechanical engineer
familiar with suspension designs could probably provide an educated
analysis that would settle the whole mess.
