Eric: I'm thinking that you can replace those hydraulic dampers on the Traveler hatch pretty reasonably if you shop hard for them. Those types of lifts are too common these days on hoods and hatches. It's got to be a competitive market. Maybe do some net surfing???? :-) Tom H.
