RE: ABS
And, I an in total agreement with John as well. I have had several times
where ABS has saved me from certain disaster.
On my new GMC, the ABS works great, and you really have to push it hard to
get the system to activate.
I've rolled on a lot of mountain pass miles already and wouldn't trade back
it for my '96, which I thought was a nice rig as well.
Scout related, we had a customer stop by yesterday to pick up a service
manual for his newly acquired '79 Scout II. It was a nice totally original
unit. He had already changed over to a soft top but all the rest was
factory. It is good to know that there are still are clean units to be
found.

I've had two personal experiences where the 4 wheel ABS on my Cherokees
saved my butt, and in one case my grandson's butt, and in the other my
wife's.
