Re: rocker play

John,
My rockers are definatly the "boat style" stamped rockers. After what you said, I'm thinking my book is probably the wrong
book for my engine. I know that the rod lenth specs are wrong. but the parts place says they were right. I bet that my book is
for the old style rockers and rods combo, and my engine is newer. I know for sure that my engine is not original. It was originaly
a amc engine. Also, I just found out that my seats are hard, which agian leads me to belive that ny engine is newer. My scout is a
76 and my book is for a 76.
I found a number embossed into the valley of my block I think it is: 151023 HS ( im very
unsure about the letters and the last digit). My I.D. is .897 My OD is .862 wich makes
for a .032 tolarance wich scares me because the books max is .007. Thanks for taking the
time to mesure your rockers for me.
