p.s....i think that the 345 should be rebuilt for the ease of it, not
haveng to buy adpters ect. you can spend that money on other
things....lockers,winchs.

but the SB CHEVY is in no wat shape or form Substandard! it is without a
dought a great engine.

and yes you could build a 345 to spin 5500-6000 rpm,but at what cost?
my buddy had a jeep and just had to build the AMC motor instead of the
chevy...(same theory he had about A##holes @ chevys everyone haveing
one) well it cost him 4/times as much money to build and he wishes he
could go back now......
