U-joint$

Just wanted to advise y'all about lubing the
driveline and u-joints frequently, like every 3,000 mi or at
least every 6 months.  Why?
Quality u-joints are expensive, I just put 4 NAPA super
duty (#250) in my intermediate and front driveline.  Total
cost: about $100!!

And had to have my rear driveline shortened a little.  Discussed
prices on slip joints, etc. with the driveline guy.  Yikes, a 
couple hundred is easy when you talk about replacing
one.

So a word to the wise (and poor): grease is cheap!!
