E36 headliner

The headliner on my 94 325 is coming off above the rear window. It seems like I
can fit my fingers in there enough to pull it down and try to fit it back
around the metal support that it attaches to. Before I do something that I may
regret, has anyone else had this problem, and how did you fix it? Should I take
it to a bodyshop?
