I too was having some difficulty with the door lock on my '91 325iX. 
Bent one key in it. Tried graphite de-icer, which had no effect. 
Finally used a good teflon based spray lubricant (on the key a few 
times, then in the lock) and the difference is remarkable. Turns 
easier than it has for years....
