I can't say for sure, but you may want to check your fuel pressure
regulator. During cold-start, the cold-start fuel injector will compensate
for poor fuel delivery, but once it shuts down, you need the correct
pressure.
I had a similar problem with my 325e (same type of engine management
system), and with the new regulator, it went away.
