My 635 used to do that. I replaced the main and unloader
relays. I also cleaned every wiring connection in the engine
bay. The problem hasn't come back for over a year.

Some folk will say this is due to the air flow meter having
a bad carbon track. That CAN happen but wasn't my problem.

A friend's 635 had a similar problem which was due to a bad
fuel pump relay.
