huh ? unpredictable ?

I always thought that a bmw, with beautiful near 50/50 weight distribution,
light precise steering, powerful motor and even more powerful brakes, 
sophisticated suspension, and now with electronic gizmos (traction control etc) 
would be considered a *very* predictable, capable automobile.

YES, AWD is pretty amazing for screaming around in reduced traction situations,
and will beat the pants off a RWD or FWD car (see World Rally Championship
cars for more info).. 

*but* IMHO, to say a BMW is unpredictable in foul weather could not be further
from the truth.
