rotors

I'm not to sure that I do need new rotors cause I haven't measured them 
(By the way does anyone out there know what the minimum thickness for 
the rotors is? 95 325i)  But there is a pretty deep lip on the edge of 
my rotors and that's what made me think I would need them pretty soon.  
I always thought that rotors were machined all the way to the end but I 
guess the dealer doesn't do that.
