Two sims that I haven't seen mentioned yet are Grand Prix Legends by Papyrus
(Sierra Sports) and TOCA Championship Racing by Codemasters (3DO).
GPL simulates the 1967 Grand Prix season and includes Kyalama, Zandvoort,
Watkins Glen, Silverstone, Monza, Monaco, Spa, Rouen and all 14 miles of the
Nurburgring. The cars in this sim are very well modeled and are a handful.
Power slides through the Curva Grande at Monza are simply awesome! You WILL
need lots of computer horsepower and a 3D car for best results.
TOCA simulates the British Touring Car Championship with all the tracks that
series runs on. Easier than GPL, with lesser horsepower requirements. Very
fun!
