M3 are very wanted cars, TRUST me, they are because I still want another =
one and I miss my 98 M3. But the way you say about "this guy" and his =
Civic was uncalled for. You would be amazed on some Civics out here in =
Miami, I know some that puts either a 1.8L or 2.2L VTEC motor and sticks =
a NOS kit with or with out a Turbo Kit, fact is that it's so much =
cheaper fixing up a Honda / Acura than a BMW. These "crappy Hondas" will =
SMOKE ANY BMW on the street. Have to figure out a way to run 13's on the =
street legally, these little rice burner are easily 500-700 lbs lighter =
than an average BMW (325i, 328i, M3).=20
Anyways, his car is his car, and it's his choice in taste for his car =
(even though it's buttfuglly like you mention it). How would you feel =
when some one tawks behind your back about your ride? Didn't think so... =
I don't care if you flame me. I had my fare share of flames back around =
96 to 97 on this digest.=20
Funny you should bring this up, I once saw a 92-94 black sedan 325i with =
18" Fittipaldi Tubolares, lowered with Eibach Springs (stickers =
everywhere) and added side markers, I know it was added because the side =
marker should not light up, and the side markers did light up, so I know =
he added him self and automatically knew it was a 92-94. Standard's for =
95 are side markers that doesn't light up.
then that same next day, I saw that car again but this time with M3 =
badges everywhere, side mirrors, side skirts, front / rear spoiler. But =
he slipped on 2 things:
1) 4-door M3 doesn't have the side markers with the rubber holder =
(something like that) they come with the skinny side markers and doesn't =
light up when you turn on the head lights.
2) doesn't a M3 comes with a M3 exhaust? He left the 325i exhaust....
Oh well, I know it was a WOB message, but I needed to say something...
PS. Oh BTW, Hondas and Acuras are great cars, it just depends on the =
driver and the person who sees it. I preferably now want to get a 92-95 =
Civic Coupe or a 97+ Prelude VTEC of course. I still miss my ol M3...
