<E36 automatics> Fill plug design

I just did an auto tranny fluid change on a buddy's '95 325is and had no
problem applying a closed-end wrench to the side mounted fill plug.  Used
<gasp> a nice Craftsman box end wrench, it wrapped all the way around the
plug with no difficulty - one quick smack from the side of my hand and the
nut popped loose...
