E30 Selector Shaft Seal Removal

Hey folks,

I remember postings not too long ago about fabricating a
simple tool for easy removal of the selector shaft seal
on the tranny of an E30.

Does anyone remember the details, or can anyone lend any
advice?  The output shaft seal was easy, but the selector shaft
seal looks to be dangerous...
