The 'Aussie' Alfetta coupe headlights are the same as the Euro ones.  ie;
the mounting / pivot pins are cast into the glass.  This makes fitting
different lights nigh-on impossible.

The US spec 116GTs have a different mounting system allowing the headlamp to
be removed from the backing mount and replaced as an independent (and
cheaper) unit.  I believe one could also easily substitute sealed beams.

So Andrew, you need the grille from a US car and then you can fit Hella,
Cibie etc to your hearts content !
