Re: GTV-6 Track Time



I'm not sure how sturdy the bulkhead mount would be - but in general you want 
the shoulder strap going horizontal back to a nice solid support.  This is 
likely a requirement for organizing bodies - can Richard speak to SCCA specs?
   The reasoning is physics.  You want the force vector from the belt to pull 
you straight back into the seat as much as possible, not down at an angle 
(ouch for the collar bone and shoulder...).  Also, the webbing is designed to 
"give" along its length - same physics diagram applies.
