Alfetta GT owners unite

Biba,

I know it was nice of that guy to give you the case of wine for the car,
but
you're not supposed to drink the whole thing in a 24 hour period.
Please
turn off your computer and drink lots of coffee.

***********

Too late!

Two Berlina and one Super owner Digester Jeff stopped by yesterday and
was somewhat wondering what my thought process was on this particular
issue.

Apparently what seems obvious to me doesn't always get conveyed in my
posts.

As I explained to him, the way I see it is Berlinas and Supers have
always been at the bottom of the Alfa pecking order (or barrel if you
choose).

With all of this excited talk about Berlinas, I was merely concerned
that Alfetta GT's would trade place with Berlinas on the pecking order.

Bad enough being second from the bottom, but at least it's nice to know
there is another 'group' one step below.

Must admit, I'm not much of a four door guy. In spite of Alfa's output
of four door vehicles, I still like to think of an Alfa Romeo as a
sporting vehicle with a great racing heritage. Somehow baby seats in the
Alfas 'family car' seems like water and oil...to me.

That said, I'm well aware of Jeff's plans for his Super and it will
eventually be a rip roaring, fire breathing race car. Knowing him
though, he might take up my idea of the nitrous oxide bottle stashed
behind a baby seat hanging from the roll cage. Unnh, Jeff, Aiden sells
nitrous oxide next door.
