Maserati VS ALFA
The carbureted BiTurbos had problems with sticky floats. Once this was
fixed many of their problems where also fixed, however handling on wet no
way. I sold my 84 to a fellow who had hit a tree in the rain. He loved
his car, so purchased my 84 just didn't plan to drive in the rain ;).
That being said V6 ALFAs are less expensive to keep on the road. However if
you are planning on purchasing a car for restoration, then don't buy one.
You will pour money into a car with no resale value. Better to purchase a
GTV or go for a Montreal. If you want Maserati go for a GT Class car, not a
QPORTE though again the resale value is nada. If you want to spend less get
a ALFA Spider @ least you have a chick magnet.
