RE: Alfetta GT owners unite

Biba,

I know it was nice of that guy to give you the case of wine for the car, but
you're not supposed to drink the whole thing in a 24 hour period. Please
turn off your computer and drink lots of coffee.

Subject: Alfetta GT owners unite

Lately there has been far too much Berlina (of the four-door family car
Alfa ilk) talk on this august digest.

Do you want your children to grow up being backseat babies who feel they
have the right to go 'back there', open the door, and walk right in like
it's a common BMW?

I say no which rhymes with, with, with, un-oh. Nevertheless, what all
American or (whatever?) male wants to go around with the indignity of
(please turn your heads in shame) baby seats in the backseat of a fine
Alfa Romeo motor car?

Can't think of any other reason one would allow one of those family
vehicles cluttering up their front lawn, let alone their back yard (when
they could have an Alfetta GT up on stilts out there in the south
forty).

However...should you be a tech inspector, do carefully search those damp
confines of the Berlina baby seat. Heard tell there are those who feel
this is an appropriate spot with which to store their nitrous oxide
bottle.

Just a rumor.
