Flushing R-12 on Spider for R-134A?

Regardless of how you flush the system I would replace the dryer as all the
crap and some of the old oil may remain.

When I changed mine last year when I had to have the compressor replaced, I
pulled three vacuums and broke the vacuums with 134a. I then pulled the finial
vacuum for 45 minutes and shut down the vacuum pump and let it set for an hour
to be sure I did not have any leaks. After this I put in the oil charge, which
contained a conditioner for the hoses and seals, and then charged the system.

It works okay, but if I had it to do again I would leave it as R12, and pay
the higher price and have better cooling.
