Tie rod end scraping against A-arm bracket

Did you remove the lower-A-arms for refurbishment also? You (or somebody
else) could have assembled those back to front. If you take a look at
them you'll see that each arm of the wishbone (front/rear) is shaped
slightly differently at the body/x-member end. The rear side, where the
tie-rod emerges, should have a recess cut into the cylindrical section
that contains the lower A-arm bush. This is specifically to give more
clearance for the tie-rod.

It's a close fit and that recess is definitely necessary.
