'74 Spider FS near San Jose, CA

Priorities have changed (baby), so must sell my mechanical baby.

Solid '74 Spider, Alfa signal red color (orangish red).  Looks really shiny
and nice from 10 feet, minor paint defects visible upon scrutiny.
No serious rust, body passes the magnet test;  minor ding on front left wheel
lip.
Nice black canvas top and clear rear window.
Black leather seats out of an '80's Spider, some split seams.  Rubber mat
torn
on drivers side but presentable.
Replacement dash cover over cracked dash.
All electrical works, except parking light position on headlight switch
(parking lights do come on with headlights).
Newer Michelins on original Turbinas.
Full tune-up about 3000 miles ago including Spica pump adjustments and all
fluids changed.  Passed smog last time around.
Engine runs good, but will blow smoke under hard acceleration;  usual minor
leaks.
Transmission and clutch solid.
Brakes work well.
Bumpers are all there, but have some wrinkles upon scrutiny.

This Spider has been a daily driver for the past year and half, completing a
50 mile round trip commute through the Santa Cruz mountains in good weather.
'74's have always been desirable, perhaps now more than ever due to new smog
laws exempting this model year.

Asking $2000.00.  May give an Alfisti a deal.
