Re: F1 on Speed Channel Renewed

It was a very entertaining race -except for the finish. It could have still been an entertaining race if Michael Schumacher had won. Sorry to be so jingoistic about it, but my three favorite automotive words are ' Made In Italy.' I want Ferrari to win - always.

BTW, apparently, Speed has the Monaco, the USGP, and Monza. These have not been seconded to ABC like they were for the last couple of years (good thing too. Here in the SF Bay Area, our local ABC outlet pre-empted the Monza GP to show some local bicycle race. Boy did they get an angry E-mail from ME- which they ignored, I might add).

Subject: F1 on Speed Channel Renewed

The F1 in Australia was the most entertaining F1 race
in years....JMHO

Some time ago there was speculation on this site that
at the first opportunity Speed Channel would drop
coverage of F1. During qualifying for the Australian
GP they announced that Speed Channel had just signed a
new 3 year contract to continue F1 coverage including
qualifying. No details, but with the usual
exceptions, USGP and Monte Carlo, I would guess. They
are predicting improved coverage with more in car
cameras than before.
