Re: 74 GTV starter problem
My 71 Berlina did that and it was the cold start solenoid. Emelio at A&A
auto in Santa Barbara (where I had just bought the car) put in a remote
toggle type switch to turn the solenoid off. I was just lucky the battery
did not have a full charge and ran down before the starter was killed. I
had no clue and no tools even if I had a clue.
