I can't imagine that there is more than one company making dash caps for
1750 GTV's.

At any rate, when I installed a dash cap on my 1750 the initial fit didn't
seem too good, so I ended up fitting the cap in place, scribing a line along
the leading edge of the dash (where the cap and the original dash material
met), then cutting and pealing off the original dash material above that
line (the stuff that would have been under the original dash cap.

The dash cap now butts nicely against the original dash material, and looks
pretty good.
