not really. but, i'd be inclined to have the reinforcements welded in
whether or not i was upgrading the suspension. done properly you have to
know what you're looking for to tell there's a difference, and they serve to
strengthen things up in that area. as far as i'm concerned, if going with a
slightly thicker swaybar causes things to tear up in that area, then even
with a stock swaybar some extra strength can only help.
