I don't think anyone is recommending "cheap gas", rather they are
recommending the APPROPRIATE grade of fuel. Only a fool
would use fuel of a higher grade than required, since there is no
performance increase or other benefit from doing that.

This is a good analogy to support the use of the APPROPRIATE
fuel. For functional purposes, the Big Mac may provide better nutrition
for the activity than a pound of expensive caviar.

As Oscar Wilde observed, some people know the PRICE
of everything and the VALUE of nothing.
