<< after reading the flyer i got re: this event, it was *not* clear to me
that my gtv6 would be allowed on the track - it said only for the touring
event...perhaps it should be stated that there is a slot for the lower hp
cars, w/25 needed to run the session. i dint see this anywhere on *my*
flyer...mebbe i missed it - but i've *never* done anything like *that*
before!

i *do* understand the necessity of keeping the different groups classified per
their power output. >>
You are correct it was not stated in the advertisement in Alfa Owner. It did
not seem fair to have someone send in money, prep their car for the track,
then arrive and find out that not enough people signed up. This needs to be
organized in advance. We have contacted the appropriate club representatives
and made them aware of the situation. Like all other clubs attending it is
then their responsibility to organize their members.
We offer an alternative to the Alfa National when distance makes it
impractical for someone to attend. We organize the entire event, provide
trophies and a venue for owners of Italian cars & motorcycles to gather
together. We do not accept any money from any club treasury to put on this
event. We take suggestions on activities to add and ask only that the club
become involved in putting on a good showing of their marque.
