Air Conditioning a Spider

Just an idea: the late 70s spiders came with a bracket on the front of the
engine to hold the air pump - maybe this could be removed and replaced with
a compressor, or whatever else you could think of. Or adapt a setup from a
junked later spider - maybe you could get one from APE (www.apedirect.com).
Good luck - while I wouldn't do this myself, I don't live in the blistering
TX heat :-) My wimp-out alternative is to use the air-conditioned "other
car" when it gets near 90 or 100 deg.
