Not really.  The early cars have all long gone.  The later cars were
perfectly adequately protected.  The killer of the early cars was a
combination of leaky glued in windscreens, and foam filled box sections
which never dried out once water (and salt) had inevitably leaked in.  And
as Graham(?) pointed out, they were absolutely brilliant cars in their
time.  Not to everyone's taste, admittedly, but none the worse for that.
