I was going to ask a question about the GTV dash cap that may be answered
by this post. I was wondering if the existing cracks should be shaved down
to
be level with the dash before glueing the cap on. If it's not done, maybe
the
cap will warp as this one did because there are uneven surfaces under the
cap,
and with the hot sun and everything. Also, the gap that Lawrence has could
be that the cap never went down to the level of the original dash because
the
old cracks were raised up. My GTV dash has some pretty high cracks in it
and I wanted to clear this up before attempting to put the cap on. Those
who
have had success with dash caps have any input? How did you put it on?
