Giulia Spider serial numbers

In AD7-601 Jim Caldwell, who has a "1963" Giulia Spider 101.23.372591, asks
"Does anyone know of a source that lists Giulia Spider (101-23) chassis number
sequences per year of production?  In other words, what VIN sequence
corresponds to the 1963 model year, the 1964 model year, etc. 

The 10123 spiders started with 10123.370.001 according to an ARI listing of
the mid eighties, but this is not strictly correct: there is a small group
(370001-371096) listed in Fusi as 101.23 Giulias but in d'Amico-Tabucchi as
Tipo 101.03 Giuliettas. Bob Cess has one of these, 101.03.370208 which has a
Giulia shell, with the false hood scoop, and Giulia seats, but otherwise is a
Giulietta. So the true 100% Giulia starts with 101.23.372001.

According to Fusi the 1962 numbers ran from 372001 to 375145; 1963 numbers
from 375146 to 378687; 1964 numbers from 378688 380565; 1965 numbers from
374639 to 374935 which does not make sense with the prior numbers.

According to d'Amico-Tabucchi the 1962 numbers ran from 372001 to 375175; 1963
numbers from 375024 to 378730; 1964 numbers from 378731 to 379999 and 392001
to 392608; 1965 numbers from 392609 to 392852. The mismatch between 1962
numbers and 1963 numbers is because some cars were numbered out of sequence- a
bit hard to understand, and harder to compress into a short post. 

In any case, it would appear that the Caldwell Giulia Spider is the 590th of
the total 8,850 "Normales" (or 10,341 if including RHD and Veloces). 3,145
Giulia Spiders were built in 1962, so his is fairly early by any standard.

Jim asks "chassis number sequences per year of production?" and then in the
next sentence "corresponds to the 1963 model year, the 1964 model year, etc."
Thirty years ago "model year" seems not to have had the importance,
particularly in Europe, that it has often had in the USA where the next year's
model is introduced earlier and earlier with each passing decade.
