I'm sure Keith's answer will be far beter than mine, but here's my
opinion:

Both car have the same motor but the 4wd have many more mechanical
pieces in movement, so, my thinking is that the 4wd must have less power
to the road than the fwd, knowing that, it's logical that the 4wd must
have less performance than the fwd. You must also count the + of weight
that the 4wd has.
