Spider questions

I am debating wheter I should install a ported and polished head in my
'79 Spider-street car.  I have made a few modifications to the engine
like: cross drilling block, headers, 10.4:1 pistons, 11mm Columbo cams,
enlarged raditor and webers.  

What are the pros and cons?
