[alfa] 164 and Milano Conical Intake Filters

Dear Digesters,

i am looking to purchase a high flow, (K&N type or equiv.) conical type
air filter setup for both my 164LS and my Milano Verde. I friend of mine
purchased a nice unit off Ebay a while ago that had a heat sheild
fabricated as part of the design but he no longer has the company info
where he got it. There are several "cheapie" models for sale on eBay for
under $10 but I do not trust what might be junk for this price. You
generally get what you pay for.

 Can somebody tell me the where the source or sources of "the good ones"
of these are - and what your experiences have been in the increase in
performance? I have heard they do increase noise a bit, but it is
supposed to be a "good noise" and the throttle response and power boost
is supposed to be noticable.

I KNOW that adding the "Q" runners to the LS will give me a big boost, but
this is a $250+ upgrade that is a luxury purchase I do not want to make
right now unless someone has a set at a good deal.
