Glenn,

I tackled the Kienzle clock this weekend. Your directions were helpful, but
not really accurate to the clock I took apart! There were so many
differences I am sure we each took apart different model Kienzle clocks.

I don't have time right now to document the differences, but will do so
realsoonow.

The bottom line with my clock is I got it to run, the solenoid is working
fine, but the clockworks are just plain worn out. I'll explain in my follow
up post. It will run fine on the bench with a 12V supply hooked up to it,
but it will not take any movement at all without stopping. Great for the
mantlepiece, not so good for a driver. The clock can take no jostling at
all without stopping.

Looks like I'm going the oil pressure gauge route!
