Instrument Illumination

I am still trying to find the earth point for the instrument lamps.
Its not the one near the overflow bottle, in fact that seems to affect
nothing.
The one on the wiper mounting strap affects, yes you've guessed, the wiper
motor.
Someone must have rewired a Stag and know where the earths behind the
dashboard get bolted to the bodyshell. Please let us in  on the secret.
