The Elusive Short Oil Dipstick

Hello All,
Not that it makes too much difference, but those very, very few of you that
actually have short oil dipsticks (not a macho contest here) in your early Stags
may wish to consult your Repair Operation Manual, Section 86.65.30 Figure of
Triumph Stag Drawing # NT0172, showing the elusive short oil dipstick. I'll bet
the date on that Triumph Drawing is circa 1967 or 1968. No part number though,
drat!
Now imagine wrapping your index finger into that hole and pulling up onto a
very hot exhaust manifold...oowweee #$%*&! Been there done that! (boy that oil
is hot...and DEEP TOO!!!...har har chuckle ;-)

Regards,
